Pseudo-linear superposition principle for the Monge-Ampère equation based on generated pseudo-operations

Through this paper, we consider generated pseudo-operations of the following form: x⊕y=g⁻¹(g(x)+g(y)), x⊙y=g⁻¹(g(x)g(y)), where g is a continuous generating function. Pseudo-linear superposition principle, i.e., the superposition principle with this type of pseudo-operations in the core, for the Monge-Ampère equation is investigated.     

基于人脸重要特征和SVM的人脸识别方法

提出了一种基于人脸重要特征的人脸识别方法,首先选取人脸的重要特征并将其具体化,对得到的重要特征进行主成分分析,然后用支持向量机(Support Vector Machine,SVM)设计重要特征分类器来确定测试人脸图像中重要特征,同时设计支持向量机(SVM)人脸分类器,确定人脸图像的所属类别.对ORL人脸图像数据库进行仿真实验,结果表明,该方法要优于一般的基于整体特征的人脸识别方法并有较强的鲁棒性.     

Matlab软件在多元统计分析中的应用

许多实际问题往往需要对数据进行统计分析,建立合适的统计模型.过去一般采用SAS、SPSS软件分析,本文给出Matlab软件在多元统计分析上的应用,主要介绍Matlab在主成份分析、聚类分析、判别分析上的应用。文中均给以实例,结果令人满意。

We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the (bounded) law of the iterated logarithm for U-statistics in Hilbert spaces. As a tool we also develop moment and tail estimates for canonical Hilbert-space valued U-statistics of arbitrary order, which are of independent interest. R. High-Order Leap-Frog Based Discontinuous Galerkin Method for the Time-Domain Maxwell Equations on Non-Conforming Simplicial Meshes

A high-order leap-flog based non-dissipative discontinuous Galerkin timedomain method for solving Maxwell's equations is introduced and analyzed. The proposed method combines a centered approximation for the evaluation of fluxes at the interface between neighboring elements, with a Nth-order leap-frog time scheme. Moreover, the interpolation degree is defined at the element level and the mesh is refined locally in a non-conforming way resulting in arbitrary level hanging nodes. The method is proved to be stable under some CFL-like condition on the time step. The convergence of the semi-discrete approximation to Maxwell's equations is established rigorously and bounds on the global divergence error are provided. Numerical experiments with highorder elements show the potential of the method.     

Applications of an Explicit Formula for the Generalized Euler Numbers

The authors establish an explicit formula for the generalized Euler NumbersE2n^（x）, and obtain some identities and congruences involving the higher＇order Euler numbers, Stirling numbers, the central factorial numbers and the values of the Riemann zeta-function.
